A 10x20 building gives you 200 square feet of floor. That is enough for mower, workbench, shelving, and still enough open floor to actually work on something.
Twenty feet of length is where a building stops being storage and starts being a room you go out to. Popular with people running a side business out of the backyard.
We have 4 10x20 buildings on the lot right now, starting at $5,728.50 cash — or about $216.99 a month on the 48-month rent-to-own with a $286.43 deposit and no credit check.
In 10x20 we currently stock: Lofted Barn, Utility, Utility Dormer. Other styles can be ordered and built to your spec in about 3–5 weeks.

Pad: Level ground about 12x22.
Access: Roughly 12 feet of clear path and gate width. This is the thing people forget. The building has to physically travel from the road to the spot, and a fence gate or a tight corner decides that before the price ever does.
Leveling: free setup covers up to 3 feet of fall on blocks you supply. Upstate ground rolls more than people expect — measure corner to corner across the spot rather than eyeballing it.
A 10x20 building is 200 square feet of floor. For comparison, a single-car garage is usually somewhere around 240.
Mower, workbench, shelving, and still enough open floor to actually work on something. What does not fit: two vehicles, obviously — and a single wide vehicle is tight at 10 feet.
Level ground about 12x22. Roughly 12 feet of clear path and gate width. Free setup includes leveling up to 3 feet using customer-supplied blocks; anything past that, or any grading and clearing, is on you before delivery day. Our delivery checklist walks through it.
Depends entirely on where you live — several local jurisdictions treat accessory buildings differently above and below certain square footages, and a 200 sq ft building may land on either side of that line depending on the county. Permits, HOA rules and covenants are the customer's responsibility. See our permits and site prep guide for who to call.
